Words have incredible power.
They have the power to make you laugh or cry, to heal or hurt. With over one million words in the English language, there’s a lot of potential power. One word is all it takes to evoke feelings of understanding, compassion, pride or connection.
One word to inspire. One word to tell a story.
During our Give2Sing Campaign, we’ve asked our community to tell us one word that reflects the meaningful experiences they had with Milwaukee Children’s Choir (MCC). Four amazing MCC singers have stepped forward to tell us their one word.
Learn more about Lauren, Evan, Adedapo and Chris, our choristers, and all the words our community uses to describe MCC during our Give2Sing Campaign. Give2Sing is the chance for us to come together and open opportunities to the performing arts for kids through song. Just one gift can make a difference and give our singers, like Lauren, Evan, Adedapo and Chris the chance to discover their word through their own story.
Give2Sing Campaign kicked off May 18 during A Legacy of Song concert. Following the concert, we hosted a reception to express our gratitude to all the support we’ve received over the past 25 years. We couldn’t be a success without you!
Give2Sing Campaign ends June 2, so don't wait. Act now. Make one gift to MCC's Give2Sing in honor of your one word. You can have a real impact on Milwaukee youth, right now.
