Prelude Choirs

Prelude Choir

West - Wednesdays. 6:00-7:00 PM. Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church

Prelude singers build upon basic music skills to create a fun and rewarding choral experience and performances for children in grades 1-2. The curriculum teaches unison and two-part folk storytelling songs while developing singing techniques and performance etiquette. During the hour-long rehearsal singers learn music theory, and develop their musical knowledge on paper and through singing. Prelude singers perform in at least two annual concerts and sometimes have other opportunities to perform throughout the year.

Lake Country

Lake Country Choir

Mondays. 6:00-8:00 PM. St. Charles Catholic School

Lake Country Choir is a satellite location of Milwaukee Children's Choir.  The Choir believes in educating the whole child through music. We believe in developing life skills such as personal expression, teamwork, and self confidence through hands-on choral instruction. Utilizing a mixture of musical theory and singing, the Choir's curriculum expands passion for the arts and builds skills learned in previous lessons. Each rehearsal begins with an active warm-up, focusing on vocal health before singing and includes demonstrations and hands-on experience throughout the rehearsal.
