Gregory Fish from Prelude Choir West is this week’s Friday Feature! Greg was nominated by Mr. Erik Jacobson because, “Greg is a passionate singer, a great leader, and brings energy to every rehearsal. He is always excited to continue singing at higher and higher levels, which makes him a great addition to our choir!”. Greg loves to sing in concerts and is excited to continue learning at MCC, and we are excited to continue watching him grow. Here’s a little bit more about Greg...

Q. How long have you been a part of MCC?
A. 4 years. Ms. Cecilia was my first teacher in Songbirds and first year of Prelude.

Q. What is your favorite part about being in MCC?
A. You get to sing...and perform at concerts.

Q. Tell us about a hobby (other than singing) that you enjoy.
A. I am a Level 5 gymnast. I love competing and going to meets.

Q. What is your favorite subject in school and why?
A. Gym because I do gymnastics so Gym is easier.

Q. What is your favorite summer time activity?
A. Circus Camp. This will be my 3rd year going.

Q. Do you have any pets? If you do, please tell us about them!
A. Fish - my sister and I both have tanks
Dogs - they like to chase me. I have 2, a Field Spaniel and a Chocolate Lab. The spaniel is crazy and the lab is calm.

Q. What do you want to be when you grow up?
A. An Olympic Gymnast.

We asked Greg and his mom if there was anything else they would like to share with us to which they replied: “Greg can have fun doing almost anything and makes friends very easily. He is an excellent student. He was invited to join his school’s choir a year early because of his involvement with MCC.” How awesome is that? Keep singing Greg!

Stay tuned in for next week’s Friday Feature!
