Be part of the Global Movement!
Everyone is familiar with Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but what about Giving Tuesday?
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday has become an international day of charitable giving since its beginning in 2012. While much of the holiday season is centered around taking, Giving Tuesday is centered around giving. With this shift in focus, Giving Tuesday has inspired millions to give back to the organizations and causes they care about.
How can you help?
Turn intention into action this year. Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give.
On December 1, consider supporting us. You can:
- Inspire others by sharing on social media how and why you give. Use our handle @MilwaukeeChildrensChoir and the hashtags #GivingTuesday and #SupportMCC.
- Make a donation to the MCC online, by mailing a check to 427 E. Stewart St., Milwaukee, WI 53217, or giving us a call at (414) 221-7040.
- Volunteer your time. No act of giving is too small. Contact our office to learn more.
If you want to be part of the global movement that is sparking change during the holiday season, save the date and give to Milwaukee Children’s Choir on December 1. You can help Milwaukee youth who want music in their lives.
