It’s the Messiah of the season!

Enjoy the glittering lights, candles, and Handel’s glorious music. Join your voice with Executive Artistic Director Lynn Swanson and the Milwaukee community for Handel’s Messiah on Friday, December 6 at 7:30 pm.

The sing-along focuses on the principle of openness – everyone is welcome in the choir, and everyone is welcome in the performance. As an audience member you are not required to sing, but you are certainly invited to sing.

Elizabeth Warne’s Onyx Chamber Orchestra will be featured at the event. Guests will also be joined by soloists Jenny Grokowsky, soprano; Sandi Lash, alto; Dr. Zachary Durlam, tenor; and Ben Bedrosky, baritone. Dr. Zachary Durlam will also give a brief pre-concert talk about the score prior to the downbeat.

Bring your own score or borrow one from us. Admission tickets are $8, or $5 with a donation of a canned good. Tickets benefit choristers of the Milwaukee Children’s Choir and canned goods will benefit the Bayview Community Center.

The Messiah Sing-Along will be the most enjoyable and fulfilling holiday experience this Christmas. The performance is held at Our Redeemer Lutheran, 10025 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa. Free parking is available in the lot behind the church.

Experience music’s most powerful message of faith. It is the greatest story ever told and the most majestic music ever conceived. MCC’s Messiah Sing-Along will be the highlight of your holiday season!
